Sheila S. Zia, FNP

Description

Zia, Sheila, FNP-BC, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner at Providence Medical Group - Eagle Point. Being a health care provider, she says, is “all I ever wanted to do.” Advocating for her patients, asking questions, listening and learning are some of her most important roles. “Healing is a partnership, ” says Sheila. “It requires building trust, practicing compassion, and realizing that while I may have knowledge, I will never know everything. I learn so much from my patients!” Sheila completed her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing, as well as her nursing internship, at Oregon Health & Science University. She also has training in functional medicine and clinical medical hypnosis.
